This teen-focused therapy group helps adolescents build emotional strength through self-compassion and mindfulness. Grounded in research-backed programs like Making Friends with Yourself and A Still Quiet Place, these sessions offer tools to manage stress, reduce anxiety, and cultivate inner confidence—especially during the pivotal years of growth and self-discovery.
EMDR Therapy
Processing Trauma Through the Body and Nervous System
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma symptoms. EMDR works to help move beyond or process past trauma by helping the body remember an experience, or process it, while preventing our brain from reacting as if it is still in danger. This can promote natural healing. Walking alongside you, I will help you develop extensive coping skills. These skills include visualization to aid in containment and also in developing a felt sense of safety which can assist you in developing a larger window of tolerance in which you can effectively manage and cope with your emotions, even if they are intense. EMDR sessions are available in-person in Carlsbad and online across California.

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask some questions to understand what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and how you’ve been coping. Whether that’s anxiety, stress, life transitions, or something else, you don’t need to have all the answers — just come as you are.

Sessions are typically once a week and last 50 minutes. However, we can discuss a frequency that feels right for you based on your needs and goals.

Yes, I offer secure online therapy sessions for clients throughout California. Whether you’re in Carlsbad, San Diego, or elsewhere in the state, Telehealth counseling allows you to get support from the comfort of your own space.

I’m currently in-network with several insurance providers. If I’m not in-network with your insurance, I’m happy to provide a superbill — a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Every plan is different, so I recommend checking with your provider to see what’s covered.

I ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.
